Umkera was established in 1991 and it focuses on the production of original ceramic buttons, ceramic jewellery and fashion accessories.

The buttons and jewellery are regularly presented on prestigious exhibitions, international ceramics biennials and ceramics festivals in Belgium, Germany, France, Netherlands, Luxembourg and Italy.

The author of the design of the buttons and jewellery is Miloslava Laiblová. She also makes original decorative and utility ceramics in her studio.
